Job Description

Stepping into a specialized department dedicated to Critical Care Respiratory Therapy, you'll collaborate within a robust multi-tiered leadership structure, gaining hands-on experience alongside Neonatologists, Hospitalists, and seasoned RT supervisors and directors. With the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population—including adults and pediatric cases in both inpatient and emergency settings—this role offers unmatched scope to broaden your clinical expertise, especially in trauma level 2 and 3 care environments. Schedule/Hours:
Three 12-hour shifts: Days (6:30 am-7:00 pm) & Nights (6:30 pm-7:00 am) Every third weekend required Every other holiday required No mandatory call, occasional voluntary off-shift callQualifications & Required Experience:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification Valid Wisconsin RT license (may take 6-8 weeks)ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS
certifications Minimum 2 years RT experience with critical care focus Experience in trauma level 2 or 3 environments Capability to assist with intubation and manage airways during code blue situations First-time travelers and travel duos welcomeKey Responsibilities:
Perform ABGs and CBGs in ICUs Cover EKG department overnight as needed Care for both adult and pediatric patients, including in ED settings Apply expertise with modern equipment: Servo U/I, PB840, Hamilton T1, V-60/30, Vapotherm, INOmax Plus, and moreOutstanding Benefits:
