Qualifications:
Valid license/registration as a Respiratory Therapist Proven experience performing a wide range of respiratory therapy procedures BLS/CPR certification (Adult, Pediatric, Neonatal) Strong communication and assessment skills Proficiency with clinical information systems and medication administration programs is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and monitor several respiratory therapy treatments (including aerosol, incentive spirometry, MDI, BiPAP-CPAP, high-flow cannula, secretion mobilization therapies) Manage oxygen therapy and ensure tank safety across approved devices Oversee quality control for blood gas laboratory analysis and participate in related procedures (arterial puncture, analysis, pulmonary function screening) Conduct respiratory diagnostic procedures, record results, and maintain accurate patient data Abide by delivery standards and participate in departmental in-service programs Support daily operations and perform related duties as assigned
