Job Description

Category Respiratory - Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Type Travel Patients are at the heart of everything you do. In this role, your expertise as a Registered Respiratory Therapist supports comprehensive care for individuals experiencing respiratory challenges. This contract position is an excellent opportunity to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team in a high-quality healthcare environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist with current and valid credentials Thorough knowledge of respiratory care modalities, ventilation management, and airway maintenance Demonstrated experience working as an RT in an acute care or hospital setting Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain if required) Detail-oriented, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Adaptability to rapidly changing clinical situations
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, effective, and patient-focused respiratory treatments and therapies Assess, monitor, and document patient respiratory status and progress Set up, operate, and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators, aerosol generators, and oxygen devices Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in developing and implementing individualized care plans Educate patients and their families on respiratory therapies, home care practices, and equipment use Respond promptly to emergencies, providing advanced airway management and life support as needed Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all facility policies and regulatory guidelines You will have the chance to work alongside skilled professionals in a respected healthcare setting, bringing comfort and improved outcomes to those in need.
