In this summer school-based SLP position, you'll play a vital role in the lives of ESY (extended school year) students in a supportive, self-contained environment. With a Monday to Thursday schedule from 7:45 AM-12:15 PM, you'll have afternoons to explore, relax, or connect with local sights. The assignment runs onsite for May 27th and from June 1-25, 2026.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid licensure and credentials to practice as an SLP in Illinois (or eligibility) Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with IEP documentation and planning Strong organizational and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver required IEP minutes to ESY students Develop and manage schedules and lesson planning for effective instruction Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure student progress Maintain documentation in compliance with school and state standards
