Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embrace a rewarding contract opportunity providing occupational therapy services to students across elementary and middle school grades. This full-time role offers the chance to collaborate with educators and students, making a positive impact during the upcoming school year. Working 37.5 hours each week, you'll support diverse learners at two close-by sites—dedicating each day to one location to ensure continuity and consistency. Candidates with prior experience in pediatrics or school-based therapy will thrive, utilizing expertise in sensory integration and individualized goal-setting. Your primary focus will be on general education and resource classrooms, with occasional support in self-contained special education environments.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license Experience in pediatric or school settings Practice in sensory integration techniques and progress documentation Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to build rapport with students and staff across varying age groups Adaptability to serve both elementary and middle school populations
Key Responsibilities:
