Schedule/Hours:

0645-1515, Monday-Friday (start at 6a for Open Heart case prep when required, with advance notice) Weeknight call: 3-4 times/week, 1515-0645 Weekend call: every other to every third weekend, Fri 1515-Mon 0645 Rotating holidays, with scheduled 8-hour reprieve shifts post-call Sleep room and nearby housing available for call response (15-minute required response)

Desired Experience & Credentials:

Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) experience, including open hearts, CABG, and valve surgeries First-scrub proficiency required CST or NCCT certification and BLS required; valid ND UAP Willingness to cross-train to general OR and float as a 1:1 sitter if case volume decreases Adaptability for rotating shifts and working holidays

Key Responsibilities:

Scrubbing and assisting on complex cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries Cross-training and assisting in ortho/general OR specialties as needed Floating to provide 1:1 sitter coverage during low case volumes Active participation in a supportive team environment with dynamic leadership and mentorship
