Qualifications:
Active Georgia SPED GaPSC Certification, including coverage through 8th grade Adapted Curriculum Endorsement required Willingness to consider candidates with pending credentials Experience or passion for working in lower functioning, self-contained classrooms
Responsibilities:
Deliver differentiated instruction in a self-contained classroom setting Collaborate with paraprofessionals and behavioral support staff to foster a positive learning environment Implement functional curriculum that meets the unique academic and developmental needs of students Participate in pre- and post-planning as needed Carefully monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation
