Qualifications:
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 (PK-22) endorsement required Experience with behavior management, especially with students with behavioral disorders, highly preferred Demonstrated proficiency in independently writing and managing full IEPs Flexibility and interest in working with both 3rd and 8th grade students until grade level placement is finalized
Responsibilities:
Teach a variety of subjects (math, reading, science, social studies) to students in special education Implement both self-contained and integrated instructional models Develop and manage individualized education plans (IEPs) Employ effective behavior management strategies in the classroom Foster an inclusive, supportive, and growth-oriented learning environment
