Desired Qualifications:
Active Maine 282 Special Education Teacher certification Current CHRC certification (or willingness to obtain) Prepared to complete Safety Care training Classroom experience with K-5 students strongly preferred Skilled in developing and implementing positive behavioral support plans and MTSS frameworks for academic, social-emotional, and behavioral supportResponsibilities:
Provide individualized and small-group instruction to support diverse learner needs in a K-5 setting Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adapt IEPs Utilize positive behavior interventions and supports to foster a safe, productive learning environment Document progress, participate in team meetings, and communicate regularly with families and staff Champion the academic, social, and emotional growth of all studentsPerks and Benefits:
