Schedule & Shift Information:
Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm Potential for occasional call, primarily for stroke evaluations, filled by full-time therapists in nearly all cases
What We're Looking For:
Current Kentucky Speech Therapist license Minimum of two years' experience in hospital therapy Strong pediatric outpatient background Expertise in inpatient swallowing therapy and modified barium swallow procedures Reliable and able to adapt to varying patient census or ratios Must reside at least 75 miles from the location
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders for both pediatric and adult populations Conduct modified barium swallow studies as required Provide comprehensive documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams Respond to stroke evaluation calls when coverage is needed Assist in patient and family education regarding therapy
