Category Therapy - Hospital - SLP Job Type Travel Experience the scenic charm of Prestonsburg, KY, nestled in the heart of eastern Kentucky's beautiful Appalachian landscape. As a travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic hospital setting, you'll gain invaluable exposure to a variety of therapeutic modalities, innovative team approaches, and diverse patient populations. This assignment is an outstanding chance to develop your clinical expertise while broadening your professional horizons and résumé.
Schedule:
Day Shift; Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Possibility for call only when no other speech coverage is available (for rare, urgent stroke evaluations)Key Qualifications:
Minimum two years of professional experience Background in pediatric outpatient therapy Inpatient and modified barium swallow experience required Licensed as a Speech Therapist in Kentucky Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facilityPrimary Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional speech-language therapy services to both pediatric and adult populations Conduct detailed swallowing and modified barium swallow evaluations for inpatient cases Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to foster patient progress Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team for coordinated patient care Maintain thorough, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with hospital standards Participate in bi-weekly orientations and adapt to fluctuating patient ratios as neededOutstanding Benefits & Perks:
