Schedule/Hours:
Travel position (full-time, varying shifts depending on facility needs)
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in North Carolina Previous hospital experience preferred Strong communication and patient education skills Commitment to evidence-based practice and team collaboration
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Document patient progress and update care plans accordingly Participate in hospital meetings and ongoing quality improvement initiatives Educate patients, families, and staff regarding treatment processes
