Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A travel opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a school setting in Westerly, Rhode Island. This role offers the chance to work directly with students, helping them develop vital communication skills in a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Deliver therapy sessions targeting speech, language, and communication disorders. Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification and license. Experience working in school settings preferred. Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to adapt therapy approaches for diverse student needs.
Location:
Position requires travel to schools in the Westerly, Rhode Island area.
