Schedule/Hours:
Day Shift:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm Potential for rare on-call coverage for stroke evaluations
Key Qualifications:
Current Kentucky licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital/healthcare setting Documented background in pediatric outpatient therapy Inpatient swallowing and modified barium swallow expertise required Must reside at least 75 miles away from assignment location
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and deliver therapeutic interventions for pediatric and adult patients Perform inpatient swallowing assessments, including modified barium swallow studies Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation staff Complete documentation promptly and accurately per hospital standards Provide rare on-call speech support for acute stroke evaluations if needed
