As a travel SLP, you'll have the opportunity to strengthen your speech-language therapy practice and enhance your resume through diverse patient populations and approaches across the continuum of care. This 13-week assignment ensures 36 guaranteed hours weekly, giving you both stability and the flexibility to explore local attractions, parks, restaurants, and the close-knit Hewitt community.
Schedule/Hours:
36 hours guaranteed weekly 13-week assignment
Key Qualifications:
Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure Experience providing therapy services in a hospital setting Familiarity with evidence-based interventions across age groups Strong communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive assessments and therapy for acute and chronic speech, language, and swallowing disorders Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans Document services in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, and therapy teams Educate patients and families, empowering them to support ongoing progress
