This Weekender Stepdown RN travel assignment offers invaluable experience in a dynamic healthcare setting, floating between the stepdown, ICU, and MS/Tele units. You'll further enhance your clinical skills, engage with a multidisciplinary team, and elevate your resume through exposure to advanced patient populations and leadership styles.
Schedule:
12-hour day shifts Weekender only (Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon)Qualifications:
Current RN license (compact or state-specific) BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required) Minimum 1 year of RN experience (required) Prior ICU-level patient care, vent/trach management essential Experience with pre/post Cath Lab and CABG patients preferred Competency passing a Dysrhythmia Exam (study guide provided) Skills with central lines, medi ports, PICCs, midlines, vents, and drips (Amio, Cardizem, Nitro, etc.)EPIC EHR
experience preferred Navy blue scrubs requiredResponsibilities:
Complete comprehensive assessments and implement evidence-based plans of care Safely administer medications, monitor patient responses, and evaluate outcomes Coordinate care and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families Provide education, support, and advocacy for patients facing complex multi-system illnesses Respond confidently to rapidly changing patient conditionsPerks & Benefits:
