As a travel RN specializing in Cardiac Stepdown, you will gain invaluable experience caring for progressive-level heart, lung, and vascular patients, and stepdown cases from OR and ICU. This dynamic opportunity ensures exposure to a variety of progressive care diagnoses, including Cardiology, Sepsis, Pneumonia, and Oncology. Schedule/Hours:

Night shift 36 hours guaranteed weekly (option for 48 available) Every other weekend required Holiday coverage expectation (at least one major winter holiday)

Key Qualifications:

Active RN license and eligibility to practice ACLS and BLS certifications Minimum 1+ years of recent stepdown experience Strong proficiency in EPIC (required) Effective communicator and collaborative team player Flu vaccination required November-April (exceptions must be client-approved) Willingness to float within scope as needed

Responsibilities:

Develop patient-centered care plans including medical histories, physical assessments, and nursing diagnoses Deliver bedside care encompassing medication administration, wound management, IV therapy (including central lines), and patient/family education Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate patient treatment Maintain accurate patient records and follow strict confidentiality Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition Comply with infection control, medication protocols, and Joint Commission standards
