As a travel RN in a progressive care setting, you'll gain invaluable professional growth by working with a 32-bed unit focused on intermediate and stepdown care. This assignment offers exposure to diverse clinical practices and leadership dynamics, strengthening your resume and broadening your expertise in high-acuity patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment; specific scheduling to be discussed at interview
Required Qualifications:
Active RN license, in good standing Recent experience in stepdown, progressive or intermediate care settings Strong knowledge of drip titration and acute patient management Excellent assessment, time management, and documentation skills Ability to float to other departments as needed within the facility
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for progressive care patients Perform independent and delegated nursing and medical functions per state standards Monitor, review, and document therapy and treatment plans in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive therapies to patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and consult or refer patients for further evaluation as appropriate Promote safety and uphold organizational mission, vision, and service standards Flex to various departments and participate in on-call rotation if required
