Travel Stepdown Unit Nurse (RN) in Howell, MI

Schedule/Hours:

7:00 am - 7:30 pm Rotating schedule, working every other or every third holiday

Qualifications & Experience:

Active RN license in good standing Minimum of one year recent experience in a stepdown or similar acuity setting Strong clinical assessment, monitoring, and patient care coordination skills Current BLS and ACLS certifications Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care for patients requiring close monitoring and stepped-down support Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing patient evaluations, responding promptly to changes in condition Administer treatments, medications, and therapies as prescribed Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Educate patients and families on conditions, progress, and care procedures Accurately document patient information and ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and safety regulations Participate in unit-based initiatives to improve quality of care This position offers challenging and meaningful work while allowing you to build on your nursing experience within a collaborative healthcare team.
