Job Description

Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Travel Advance your surgical technology career in a dynamic environment supporting cardiovascular operating room procedures. This role requires a surgical technologist with focused cardiac, vascular, and robotic surgery experience, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care. Work alongside skilled surgical teams and directly contribute to positive patient outcomes in a fast-paced setting.
Schedule Options:
3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (06:00-18:30) 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (06:00-16:30)
On-Call Requirements:
1 weekend of on-call coverage per month 1-2 weekday on-call shifts as needed
Qualifications:
Completion of accredited surgical technologist program Active
NBSTSA CST
certification required Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR surgical technologist experience Proficiency in cardiac, vascular, and robotic surgical procedures Ability to work collaboratively in high-acuity, team-based environments Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Assist cardiovascular surgeons during procedures by preparing the operating room, organizing sterile instruments, and anticipating surgeon needs Maintain strict aseptic technique and ensure proper handling of surgical equipment Collaborate with nurses and anesthesia providers to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes Participate in setup and turnover of the CVOR, ensuring a safe, efficient workflow Respond to call-ins and demonstrate flexibility according to unit requirements
