Key Qualifications:
Active RN license Telemetry nursing experience Current
ACLS & BLS
certifications NIH Stroke Certification required Proficiency in reading basic rhythm strips prior to start Strong communication skills and ability to work well within both primary and team nursing models
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess patients on telemetry units Recognize, report, and respond to cardiac rhythms and changes in patient condition Deliver hands-on patient care and administer prescribed medications and interventions Collaborate closely with care teams, including physicians, other nurses, and allied health professionals Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly Adhere to facility and unit protocols while maintaining high standards of patient safety
