This contract position demands a dynamic professional who is comfortable with a high-volume call environment and capable of providing excellent care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Schedule/Hours:

12-hour shifts (days or nights) Heavy on-call rotation, including frequent weekends and nights

Key Qualifications:

Valid BLS, RDMS, and RVT certifications (required) Minimum of 2 years' experience as a hospital-based Ultrasound Technician Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills ACLS certification preferred Comfortable working in a unit with 4 scanners covering 24/7 operations

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of general ultrasound procedures, utilizing advanced equipment such as GE, 1.5, Discovery 450, X-Ray, MRI, and CT Create detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues for accurate diagnosis and assessment Ensure safe, high-quality patient care from start to finish Collaborate closely with a team of skilled techs, maintaining a 1:1 patient-to-tech ratio Navigate and document exams using the Meditech EMR system Adhere to hospital guidelines regarding attire (gray scrubs required) This is your chance to contribute to a 472-bed, award-winning facility recognized nationally for expertise in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, bariatrics, and women's services.
