Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients and perform specialized obstetrical, fetal, and gynecologic ultrasound exams using established protocols. Acquire and document accurate images and findings to support precise diagnosis and quality patient care. Conduct fetal monitoring tests and assist physicians in performing invasive diagnostic or surgical procedures. Educate and communicate effectively with patients and families, delivering compassion in high-stress situations. Uphold national standards per ASRT and AIUM guidelines, ensuring best practices in imaging and reporting. Demonstrate proficiency with Radiology and hospital systems, including test orders, retrieving patient info, and exam tracking.
Desired Qualifications:
Proficiency in general ultrasound imaging with experience in obstetric and gynecologic studies. Certification and compliance with ASRT and AIUM standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to adapt to different healthcare environments and electronic medical systems.
