Qualifications:
Current credentials as a registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or equivalent Certification in Ultrasound Technology/Sonography from an accredited program Minimum of one year experience in a clinical ultrasound setting, with vascular imaging proficiency Strong patient communication and assessment skills BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent) required Adaptability to new technology and workflow systems
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations and interpret images Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals Accurately document findings and patient histories in the electronic medical record Provide compassionate patient care, maintaining comfort and safety throughout procedures Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment; report any malfunctions promptly Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards
