Key Responsibilities:

Perform adult and pediatric transthoracic echocardiograms in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, ensuring accurate archiving of all images. Administer contrast agents for echocardiography as required, optimizing image clarity. Assist cardiologists with transesophageal echocardiogram procedures, from patient preparation to instrumentation adjustments and post-procedure equipment handling. Support and participate in treadmill and dobutamine stress echocardiogram testing, including acquisition of appropriate imaging pre- and post-stress. Oversee clerical functions such as study review, chart preparation for dictation, and ensuring all procedures are properly completed in the system. Ensure patient and team safety across all diagnostics and maintain strict adherence to patient identification protocols. Provide clear, compassionate communication by educating and informing patients about each procedure, addressing questions and concerns. Fulfill additional assigned duties as needed to support smooth daily operations.

Desired Qualifications:

Demonstrated expertise in imaging, with specialization in vascular ultrasound and echocardiography. Comfort working with all age groups, from adults to pediatrics.
