Key Responsibilities:
Deliver skilled care to adult and geriatric patients during a range of vascular ultrasound procedures. Prepare patients thoroughly for examinations, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process. Promptly notify RNs or physicians of any changes in patient condition. Communicate STAT results or abnormal findings to NP, PA, or MD immediately. Accurately document all procedures, including clear labeling, recording procedure details in the medical record system, and entering related charges. Maintain high standards in sterile technique and infection prevention for patient and team safety. Report equipment malfunctions and assist colleagues as needed. Take part in special assignments, maintaining a clean, well-stocked work area.Qualifications:
Proven skills in vascular ultrasound imaging. Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations. Proficiency in medical record documentation and procedural recording. Strong understanding of infection control and sterile practices. Effective communication skills with healthcare teams.
