Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel Join a fast-paced radiology team in a large trauma and Magnet-designated hospital, providing vital imaging services across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and procedural settings for all age groups. The department boasts advanced technology, including GE, Fuji, and Del Medical systems, and supports a collaborative environment with 24/7 radiologist, hospitalist, and intensivist coverage.
Qualifications:
Minimum two years' experience in acute care or surgical radiology ARRT certification and active Wisconsin license required BLS certification Demonstrated skills in general, surgical/procedure imaging, portables, and high-acuity hospital settings Proficient in fluoro (ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic, urology), OR procedures (orthopedic, spine, general; o-arm proficiency preferred) Flexibility to handle a daily patient load of 15-20 per tech First-time travelers considered based on high competency in surgical and procedural radiology
Schedule:
Monday-Friday with every other weekend rotation One day off during the week leading up to your weekend on, and the same the following week
On-call:
one shift each week; rotation varies (first call 6:30 am-2:00 pm, second call 2:00 pm-10:30 pm, third call 10:30 pm-6:30 am) Holiday coverage: one per contract
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality radiologic imaging for diverse patient populations, ensuring accuracy and safety Support surgical teams in the OR, including orthopedic and spine procedures with o-arm technology Operate fluoroscopy for a variety of specialty procedures Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
