Desired Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiology Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Active state license as required Prior experience in imaging, particularly in radiology Competency with C-Arm/Fluoroscopy equipment and familiarity with PACS systems Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines Ability to provide compassionate, age-appropriate care Strong communication and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
Verify patient identification using two identifiers per protocol Ensure accuracy by reviewing orders, clarifying as needed, and documenting accordingly Greet patients, assist with preparation, and explain procedures comprehensively Demonstrate sincere concern for patient well-being, reducing anxiety and providing support Select technical factors for each exam, positioning patients based on procedure needs and pathology Confirm image quality and verify successful transfer to PACS before submission to radiologists Assist with pain management procedures, demonstrating knowledge of relevant imaging equipment Maintain focus on both equipment and patient safety during procedures Complete tasks efficiently, balancing procedure complexity with timely results
