Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a Traveling Electro-Mechanical Service Technician to support the service, repair, startup, troubleshooting, and rebuild of pump stations, water plants, wastewater facilities, valves, pumps, controls, and related equipment . This is a hands-on field position for someone who is mechanically capable, electrically competent, comfortable working at customer sites, and able to solve problems independently. The right candidate will be involved in a wide variety of work including equipment service, conduit and wiring installation, instrumentation, panel troubleshooting, pump and valve rebuilding, piping, welding, startup, and customer support . We are looking for someone who can represent the company well in the field, communicate professionally with customers, and take pride in doing quality work. Responsibilities Travel to customer sites to perform service, repair, and startup work on pump stations, water plants, and wastewater systems Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and control-related issues Install and service pumps, valves, motors, controls, instrumentation, and related equipment Run conduit, pull wire, terminate wiring, and assist with electrical installations Troubleshoot and repair control panels, field wiring, motor controls, and instrumentation systems Perform pump and valve rebuilds, equipment replacement, and mechanical repairs Assist with or perform pump station rehabilitation and rebuild work Install and modify piping systems and related equipment Perform welding and fabrication as needed in support of service and repair work Complete equipment startups, field testing, checkout, and operational verification Communicate with customers on job status, field conditions, and recommended repairs Prepare clear and accurate service reports and documentation Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in a professional manner Follow company and customer safety requirements at all times Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Experience in electro-mechanical service, industrial maintenance, water/wastewater service, or related field work Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability Working knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, conduit, motor controls, and field devices Experience using hand tools, power tools, electrical test equipment, and diagnostic tools Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and basic mechanical drawings Experience with pumps, valves, motors, piping systems, or industrial equipment Ability to work independently in the field with limited supervision Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers Valid driver's license, good driving record, and willingness to travel regularly Preferred Qualifications Experience in water and wastewater systems Experience rebuilding pumps, valves, and related rotating equipment Experience with instrumentation installation and troubleshooting Experience running conduit and performing industrial electrical work Experience troubleshooting control panels and motor control systems Welding and fabrication experience Startup and commissioning experience CDL, hoisting, rigging, or equipment operation experience is a plus OSHA, confined space, or other industrial safety training is a plus Physical / Work Requirements Ability to travel frequently and work at customer sites Ability to lift heavy tools, parts, and equipment Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to climb ladders, enter pump stations, and work in industrial environments Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work with hands for extended periods Willingness to work occasional overtime or irregular hours when needed for emergency service or project demands What We're Looking For Someone who is dependable, practical, and takes ownership of their work A technician who can handle both mechanical and electrical tasks in the field A person who can troubleshoot problems instead of just changing parts Someone who works well with customers and represents the company professionally A team member who wants to build, repair, and restore real equipment that matters Compensation and Benefits Competitive pay based on experience with bonus Per diem / travel accommodations as applicable Company vehicle, computer, and phone Health insurance / retirement / PTO / tool allowance / training Opportunity to work on important infrastructure in water and wastewater systems To Apply Please send your resume and a brief summary of your experience with pumps, valves, electrical work, instrumentation, service work, and water/wastewater equipment .Job Type:
