Tree Laborer / Ground Crew Member

Brooke Tree Service LLC is seeking a hardworking, dependable, and motivated Tree Laborer / Ground Crew Member to join our growing team. We are a fully licensed and insured, family-owned tree company providing professional tree removal, pruning, crane work, emergency storm response, stump grinding, and arborist services throughout the MetroWest area. Job Summary Job Responsibilities Assist climbers and equipment operators on tree removal and pruning jobs Operate chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, leaf blowers, and other equipment safely Drag brush, cut wood, rake, and maintain clean job sites Load and unload trucks, equipment, and materials Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures Assist with rigging, ropes, and ground support during removals Perform emergency storm cleanup and on-call work when needed Maintain a professional attitude with customers and coworkers Support daily vehicle and equipment inspections Requirements Valid driver's license required CDL preferred but not required Prior tree experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment Reliable transportation to and from shop Must be punctual and dependable Preferred Qualifications Experience with chainsaws and tree equipment DOT medical card Hoisting license Previous landscaping, construction, or labor experience Climbing experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities available Paid training and advancement opportunities Year-round work available Safety-focused work environment Opportunity to grow into climber or equipment operator positions Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Overtime available Weekend emergency work occasionally available About Brooke Tree Service LLC Brooke Tree Service LLC is committed to providing safe, reliable, and expert tree care services while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
