Tree Service - Ground Crew Member

Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our Grounds Crew team. This position involves a variety of tasks related to tree care, forestry mulching and excavation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for arboriculture and a strong commitment to maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of outdoor spaces. Duties Perform tree trimming and removal using appropriate techniques and equipment. Keep jobsite clear to keep safe work zone. Installation and repair of gravel driveways, pads, culverts, etc. Operate chainsaw, chipper, stump grinder, track loader, articulating loaders, use of various grapples and rigging safely for tree care and maintenance tasks. Assist with landscape maintenance, including planting and mulching. Utilize technology for tracking job progress. Engage in rigging practices to ensure safe handling of materials during tree work. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain tools and equipment to keep in great working condition. Snow removal. Qualifications Experience in chainsaw use and maintenance, preferred. Knowledge of arboriculture principles and techniques, preferred. Familiarity with tree care practices, including trimming and rigging skills, preferred. Ability to operate various ground equipment safely, preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to learn new skills related to arboriculture. A valid driver's license with good driving record. Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:

operating a professional chainsaw: 1 year (Preferred) professional tree service: 1 year (Preferred)
