Tree Service Worker

Fox Forestry is looking for a motivated individual to fill an opening in our forestry and tree service crew. Are you currently working in a corporate company setting and lacking that certain something, at Fox Forestry we are a family owned and operated forestry company located in Orland Maine. We pride ourselves in specializing in a wide variety of forestry and tree services, and serve a wide area of downeast / mid-coast, and greater Bangor Maine. We complete everything from designing and writing technical forest management plans, technical arborist removals, residential services and insect and disease remediation. The majority of our work is concentrated in and around the Penobscot Bay region, with occasional overnight stays on the outer islands.

Responsibilities include:

• Directional felling.
• Assisting arborists with rigging.
• Operating a wide range of equipment
• Assisting with manual labor on job sites.
• Diving Forestry trucks (Class A or B), Hauling loaded trailers with logs, Cutting and chipping woody debris.

Qualifications:

• Class B License or Higher (Preferred)
• Previous experience operating chainsaws and chippers (Preferred)
• Ability and willingness to learn new skills related to the trade
• Valid drivers license with reliable transportation to work
• Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented

Job Type:

Full-time position Fox Forestry proudly offers competitive pay, benefits package, and retirement plans for employees once a trial period is complete. Pay is commensurate with experience.
