Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate a company lift to perform tasks such as tree trimming & tree removal Drive company vehicles and equipment to and from job sites Load/unload heavy equipment & secure for transport Operate loaders to gather, relocate, and/or stage debris Operate & maintain/service chainsaws, pole saws, blowers, rakes, chippers, stump grinders, and all other company equipment assigned Perform rigging and cabling tasks, as needed

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to take direction from Crew Leader and other Field Management, and ability to communicate effectively with other team members Maintain a safe work environment Must have reliable transportation to and from our shop in Walcott, Iowa and must be willing to work extended hours and weekends

Education and Experience/ Licenses:

2+ years of tree work/ climbing experience preferred Experience using chainsaws, pole saws, chippers, stump grinders and other power equipment preferred DOT medical card and CDL A or CDL B are a plus

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand and walk long distances Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds If you are a dedicated individual with a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, we encourage you to apply for the Tree Trimmer position.
