Tree Worker

Job Overview Central Applicators, Inc. is seeking serious, hardworking, dependable, and positive individuals to join our team in a dynamic outdoor work environment. This position focuses on utility vegetation management, including tree clearing around power lines, restoration work, and related landscaping activities. Key Responsibilities Operate aerial lift trucks to perform tree trimming and removal near power lines. Safely perform physical labor associated with vegetation management, including cleanup of debris. Load, secure, and transport equipment using trailers, including proper strapping or chaining of loads. Connect to, disconnect from, chalk, and safely back up trailers. Operate chainsaws in accordance with OSHA and ANSI standards for limbing, bucking, slashing, and directional felling. Use pole saws, loppers, pruners, hand saws, and hot sticks to trim or remove tree limbs. Operate ATVs/OHVs safely and in compliance with applicable state laws. Follow directions from senior employees, foremen, and administrative staff. Maintain professional conduct and safe work practices while representing Central Applicators and its clients. Perform additional duties associated with a laborer/groundworker role in the utility arboriculture field as needed. Qualifications Valid driver's license required. Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform physically demanding work. Willingness and ability to travel and work away from home Monday through Friday as required. (Hotel accommodations and meal costs are provided by the company for out-of-town assignments.) Basic knowledge of trees is helpful but not required; on-the-job training and target species identification will be provided. Basic chainsaw safety knowledge is a plus. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions. Additional Requirements Responsible operation of equipment and adherence to all safety protocols. Applicants born after July 1, 1986 must possess or complete online ATV safety training prior to operating ATVs/OHVs.

From $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
