Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks such as tractor-trailers and flatbeds to transport freight efficiently. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations. Navigate assigned routes confidently, adhering to schedules and traffic laws while optimizing delivery times. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries seamlessly. Handle special freight such as tarped coils and oversized loads with attention to detail and safety protocols. Experience Proven three years experience as a commercial flatbed truck driver. Demonstrated ability to operate manual and automatic transmission trucks safely and efficiently. Familiarity with driving different types of freight to include beams, concrete products, coils, and oversized loads. Knowledge of transportation safety regulations and best practices for freight handling. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A) with endorsements relevant to the types of vehicles operated. $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per week
