Truck Driver Class A

Truck Driver Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our small family oriented trucking business. We are willing to train if you have not hauled certain commodities. We haul road construction materials,asphalt, ag lime , rock, liquid fertilizer, anhydrous ammonia, liquid propane, etc.. We are based in Toulon, Il. There is a possibility of keeping truck/trailer closer to your residence if geographically is in our area of work.

Responsibilities:

• Be kind and courteous to fellow employees and customers
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
• General servicing of truck/trailer.
• Keeping truck and trailer (interior and exterior) clean.
• Be able to perform minor repairs

Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Class A with Tanker endorsement
• Haz mat endorsement a plus but not mandatory and willing to obtain
• Proven experience in commercial driving or a similar role
• Knowledge of basic semi repair is advantageous

$65,000.00
