Truck Driver Class A Local Routes

Role Description:

CNG Direct, LLC is looking for a responsible, qualified and motivated Class A Driver. Our trucking / hauling routes connected to this role are all local routes in the greater Grand Rapids area. Driver will utilize CNG Direct owned trucks/tractors to haul compressed natural gas from local dairies where renewable natural gas (RNG) is being produced. RNG will be hauled over the road to an injection site where we will offload the gas into the national pipeline grid. A Hazmat endorsement is required. CNG Direct will pay bonus to get your Hazmat endorsement if you don't already have it.

About CNG Direct:

We are family-first company with extensive experience trucking/hauling natural gas in compressed natural gas (CNG) tube trailers. We provide "virtual-pipeline services" which includes compressing and loading natural gas into trailers, hauling CNG over the road, and finally offloading gas at the destination. Our natural gas "pipeline" is over the road. With 36 years in business, we have a number of operational hubs and we're establishing an operational team in the Grand Rapids area.

Responsibilities:

Transport compressed natural gas and related equipment using a company tractors.

• Hauling/Trucking local routes
• Operate CNG Equipment (Compression, Connections, CNG Trailers and Offloading Equipment).
• Maintain company vehicle.
• Perform vehicle inspections including, but not limited to: lights, gauges, tow hitches, brakes, batteries, tires, etc.
• Use good judgment to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Complete all required driver logs, reports and paperwork in a legible and timely manner.
• Communicate daily with management to provide accurate information.
• Speak fluent English and effectively communicate with others.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Professional demeanor at all times.
• Demonstrate basic written and verbal communication skills (English).
• Must be willing to work after hours, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to travel. Some overnight travel may be required.
• Valid Driver License and clean DMV record. Must have Class "A" driver license with HazMat Endorsement (CNG Direct to reimburse you to get endorsement if you don't already have it). Must be insurable.
• Must have current Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
