Truck Load Planner

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Truck Load Planner to join our Operations team. In this vital role, you will coordinate freight shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery across our network. You will nee expertise in transportation planning, logistics, and data analysis. Responsibilities Develop and execute transportation plans for truck loads using McLeod (TMS) Coordinate with drivers, warehouses, and dispatch teams to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring adherence to delivery windows. Utilize GPS tools to monitor vehicle locations, optimize routes, and improve overall fleet efficiency. Manage freight documentation, data entry, and shipping & receiving records accurately within McLeod. Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and your team members Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, or service enhancements. Skills Proficiency in McLeod and Samsara. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret GPS data, and other logistical information. Knowledge of transportation planning. Excellent communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette. Experience with shipping & receiving procedures in Mcleod or TMS Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently using multi-line phone systems while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay:

$52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
