United Salad Co., one of the largest family-owned distributors of fresh produce, grocery, and foodservice products in the Pacific Northwest, is growing—and we're looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team! With a fleet of over 200 vehicles delivering fresh goods to national chains, independent grocers, schools, and restaurants, our mechanics play a key role in keeping things moving. What You'll Do:
  • Diagnose and repair Class A trucks and refrigerated trailers
  • Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, lubrication, battery checks, etc.)
  • Ensure equipment meets or exceeds Federal DOT standards
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair brake, steering, and suspension systems
  • Operate hand and power tools including pneumatic wrenches and jacks
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services
  • Support general shop needs and additional tasks as assigned
What We're Looking For:
  • Age 18+
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum 1 year of truck and/or trailer repair experience
  • Own basic hand tools
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
and perform physical work (bending, squatting, climbing, lying under vehicles, etc.) Position is contingent upon a successful background check, an acceptable motor vehicle record check, and the ability to pass a drug screen, including THC.
