Trucking Dispatcher

Duties Coordinate daily dispatch operations for fuel shipments, ensuring all deliveries are scheduled accurately and efficiently using transportation management systems. Communicate effectively with drivers to provide route updates, address issues, and optimize delivery schedules. Manage shipping & receiving schedules, coordinate with warehouse teams on load statuses, and oversee freight documentation to support seamless supply chain flow. Utilize data entry skills for accurate logging of dispatch activities, delivery statuses, and driver logs. Conduct analysis of transportation data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in dispatching, routing, or fleet management. Maintain professional phone etiquette and clear communication with drivers, clients, and internal teams to foster positive relationships and resolve issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in dispatching within logistics or transportation management environments. Strong knowledge of transportation planning, supply chain operations, and freight management processes. Excellent analysis skills to interpret data related to fleet performance and route optimization. Effective communication skills with the ability to handle phone etiquette professionally under pressure. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with fleet management best practices. $85,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
