Job Title:
Turbine Engine Technician Job Description Work in a bench repair and testing environment within the Turbine Engine shop, where you will overhaul helicopter engines. As a Technician, you will disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble, test, and certify systems and related units for heavy-lift helicopters. Responsibilities Read and interpret maintenance manuals. Clean and inspect engines, engine components, and component parts for damage and wear using visual examination and special tooling and equipment. Replace or repair damaged and worn engine parts and component parts using general hand tools, special tools, pneumatic tools, and precision measuring equipment. Reassemble engines and perform tests or checks as required to confirm engine or engine component serviceability. Document all inspection findings and work performed/corrective action in the appropriate maintenance records. Essential Skills Experience in engine repair and aircraft maintenance. Proficiency in troubleshooting and turbine engine overhaul. Possession of an A&P license. Experience overhauling Honeywell T55 or GE T408 engines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Military or commercial turbine engine maintenance and/or component maintenance training preferred (Army MOS 15B). Full disassembly and overhaul experience on engines, not just removal and/or phase maintenance. U.S. Person per client ITAR regulation. Why Work Here? Initially, work on a 5-day schedule (8am- 4:30pm) for several weeks, then transition to a 4-day schedule (6am
- 4:30pm) from Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00
