Job Description

Canby Rental & Equipment, Inc. (CRE), is looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) Tier-1 (entry-level) Customer Service Representative (CSR) to be a primary point of contact with--and provide superior service to--CRE customers. This position entails greeting customers both in person and over the phone and using a computer to enter data for various outdoor power equipment-related services. The ability to accurately process significant amounts of information and work in a fast-paced environment—while maintaining CRE's friendly, inclusive culture—are necessary in this position. Training objectives will be laid out and monitored. Preference is given to candidates who have 'mechanical aptitude,' i.e. can show experience with engines/equipment, as this is relevant to the knowledge base needed for the job. Here are a few things we'd like to see from our applicants: A fantastic attitude and enthusiasm for customer service Bilingual English/Spanish (not required, but strong preference given) Previous customer service experience is a plus Familiarity with outdoor power equipment is a plus Good record of past employment with references A current & valid Oregon driver license, CDL NOT required Computer aptitude (Windows, MS Office, email), including strong typing skills Strong telephone skills Effective written & oral communication skills Strong organizational skills Ability to multitask Superior work ethic & a sense of urgency
