Job Description

Category Schools - Visually Impaired Teacher Job Type Contract Empower students and make an incredible impact as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired on a contract assignment near Broussard, LA. Your expertise will help create accessible, inclusive learning experiences for students with visual impairments, guiding them to develop essential skills and reach their full potential.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid teaching certification specific to Visual Impairment Experience supporting students with blindness or visual challenges across various grade levels Familiarity with Braille instruction and adaptive technology (e.g., screen readers, magnifiers) Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Compassion, patience, and creativity in adapting lesson plans and materials
Key Responsibilities:
