A Military Specialist operates and maintains vehicles and mechanical equipment pertinent to mission success, whether on the sea, land or in the air. May monitor communication, detection, or weapons systems during operations. Interprets and evaluates tactical situations, making recommendations to supervisors. May operate weapons targeting, firing, and launch systems whether during combat or peacetime. In addition to their combat training, they have also specialized training in swimming, diving, parachuting, survival, emergency medicine, and foreign languages. Duties include conducting advanced reconnaissance operations and collecting intelligence information; recruiting, training, and equipping friendly forces; conducting raids and invasions on enemy territories; laying and detonating explosives for demolition targets; locating, identifying, defusing, and disposing of ordnance; and operating and maintaining sophisticated communications equipment.

Participants will gain hands-on industry experience while supporting Gulfstreams mission of designing, manufacturing, and servicing world-class aircraft. Position Purpose :
The Gulfstream DoD SkillBridge program is an opportunity for service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service for positions in which they qualify for. The Gulfstream SkillBridge program connects transitioning service members with various positions within Gulfstream for which they qualify for based on Military and Civilian experience.

Active-duty service member approved for participation in the DOD SkillBridge program. Strong work ethic, adaptability, and willingness to learn. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Basic computer and communication skills. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the assigned role. Meet the Education and Experience requirements to be considered for open positions. This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
