Flexible during the week + Weekends required About Happy Fresh Happy Fresh Co. is a growing specialty beverage brand in Laredo focused on fresh, colorful, handcrafted drinks, seasonal flavors, pop-ups, collaborations, and memorable customer experiences. We are looking for an extremely dependable, organized, creative, and motivated person to take ownership of the day-to-day operation of Happy Fresh from start to finish. This is NOT just a social media position and it is NOT just a drink-making position. We are looking for someone who can eventually run Happy Fresh with minimal supervision from the owner. The Role You will be responsible for making sure Happy Fresh is prepared, promoted, staffed, organized, and ready to operate each week. The right person should be comfortable switching between operations, inventory, drink preparation, events, customer service, marketing, and content creation. You should be the type of person who sees what needs to be done and gets it done without waiting for someone to give you instructions every step of the way. Responsibilities Weekly Operations Plan and prepare for weekly Happy Fresh service Coordinate syrup production and make sure all syrups are prepared on time Maintain inventory of fruit, syrups, cups, lids, straws, garnishes, ice and other supplies Create shopping/restocking lists and make sure necessary supplies are purchased Keep equipment and supplies organized Coordinate with other Happy Fresh team members Help create systems that make the business more efficient Identify problems before they affect service Drink Development & Quality Prepare Happy Fresh drinks according to our recipes Maintain consistency and presentation standards Test new drink combinations Help develop seasonal and limited-edition flavors Taste-test products and make recommendations Create beautiful, Instagram-worthy drinks Help improve recipes, garnishes, rims and presentation Friday Happy Fresh Residency Be available for our Friday residency at Bella Vita Make sure everything needed for service is ready beforehand Set up the Happy Fresh station Prepare and serve drinks Provide excellent customer service Keep the station clean and organized Manage inventory throughout service Capture content while customers are visiting Break down and organize everything after service Marketing & Content Create photos and short-form videos for Instagram and TikTok Film behind-the-scenes drink preparation and new flavor testing Create content that builds excitement for Friday Follow relevant food, beverage and social media trends Help plan seasonal launches and promotions Capture customer reactions and user-generated content Keep Happy Fresh active and exciting online Respond to basic customer messages when needed Growth & Events Look for appropriate local pop-ups, markets, collaborations and events Communicate with potential event organizers and business partners Coordinate approved events from planning through execution Help identify opportunities to increase sales and brand awareness Bring new ideas to the owner instead of waiting to be told what to do Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Extremely reliable and responsible Organized and detail-oriented Creative Comfortable taking initiative Social-media savvy Comfortable filming photos/videos with a phone Friendly and confident with customers Able to work independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Willing to be hands-on Able to manage multiple responsibilities Excited about helping grow a local brand Someone who takes ownership instead of saying, "That's not my job." Experience in food/beverage, hospitality, events, social media, marketing, management, or small-business operations is helpful, but the right personality, work ethic, reliability, and ability to learn are extremely important to us. What Success Looks Like The goal of this position is simple: Happy Fresh should be able to operate successfully without the owner having to personally manage every detail. You will have established recipes, branding and direction to work from, but we want someone who can take ownership of execution. When Friday arrives, drinks should be ready, supplies should be stocked, the team should know what they're doing, marketing should already have created excitement, and service should run smoothly. We want someone who can help us build Happy Fresh into something much bigger. Pay:
$10.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 30.0 per week
