Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic imaging environment as a skilled Ultrasound Technologist, where your expertise in general ultrasound will support patient diagnosis and care. This contract role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced healthcare professionals committed to delivering excellent diagnostic imaging services.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:
Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography/Ultrasound Technology Demonstrated competency in performing general ultrasound exams Experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer in a clinical or hospital setting Understanding of imaging protocols and patient safety standards Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and team members Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills Active BLS certification required
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of general ultrasound examinations, ensuring high-quality images for interpretation Prepare and position patients appropriately, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout the exam Collaborate closely with radiologists and physicians on diagnostic findings Accurately document and report findings into electronic medical records Maintain equipment, following all policies and safety procedures Adhere to infection control and quality assurance protocols Provide responsive and professional care in a fast-paced healthcare environment
