Kaukauna Clinic is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a temporary PRN assignment beginning in June 2026. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and patient-focused sonographer looking for flexible scheduling in a supportive, team-oriented clinic environment.

Kaukauna Clinic Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning. Your expertise in medical imaging, anatomy, and physiology will ensure high-quality imaging results while providing compassionate patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely imaging services. Your proficiency in sonography and medical terminology will be instrumental in supporting our mission to improve patient outcomes through advanced diagnostic techniques. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with precision, including abdomen, reproductive systems, prostate, heart and blood vessels in accordance to established standards and procedures. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the process. Maintain a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology to capture clear images that aid in accurate diagnosis. Apply aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment during procedures, minimizing infection risk. Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to review images, clarify findings, and assist in diagnostic interpretation. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient histories, and imaging results in compliance with healthcare regulations. Stay current with advancements in sonography technology and medical imaging practices through ongoing education. Skills Proficiency in anatomy knowledge relevant to ultrasound imaging across various body systems. Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and empathetically to patients. Deep understanding of medical terminology related to diagnostic radiology and sonography. Ability to apply aseptic technique consistently during all procedures. Familiarity with physiology principles that underpin accurate image acquisition and interpretation. Experience with diagnostic radiology equipment and medical imaging software is preferred.
