Responsibilities Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect and prevent unauthorized activities or security breaches. Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety protocols are followed and identify potential hazards or suspicious behavior. Manage access control by verifying identities of visitors, contractors, and employees, ensuring only authorized individuals enter designated areas. Respond promptly and effectively to incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations when necessary. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping for future reference. Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting suspicious activity that could lead to theft or vandalism. Support emergency response procedures by providing first aid when needed and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as required. Qualifications Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid is preferred to handle medical emergencies confidently. Familiarity with CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention strategies is advantageous. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure and de-escalate tense situations effectively. Knowledge of security protocols and law enforcement procedures relevant to private security operations. Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and inspections.
