Unarmed Security Guard

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies. Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment. Utilize CCTV and surveillance systems to monitor activities and identify potential threats. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent loss or damage. Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies. Document incidents, observations, and any actions taken in detailed reports. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potentially volatile situations. Requirements Previous experience in law enforcement or security preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operations. Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Military experience is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must pass background checks as part of the hiring process.
