Open availability - to cover any day, any shift Security experience preferred Primary Purpose and Function The Security Officer is responsible for providing security services at assigned locations with a focus on observing and reporting. Duties include, but are not limited to: monitoring and reporting all activity, conducting foot patrols, vehicular patrols, golf cart patrols, and/or bicycle patrol of applicable interior and/or exterior areas; reporting suspicious activities, suspicious persons, writing detailed narrative reports, maintaining daily activity reports (DAR's), enforcing post orders, site rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and responding to emergency situations requiring security assistance. Position Overview & Scope Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures. Accurately logs inbound / outbound traffic via site specific site procedures through control post, verifying delivery paperwork and notifying operations. Completes all required end of shift incident reports. Provides direction and support to associates needing assistance with security matters. Monitors truck yard activity to ensure the security of the facility, preventing unauthorized access. Reports suspicious activities, safety hazards, unusual circumstances and/or behavior, maintenance issues, accidents, injuries, etc. Conducts visual inspections of vehicles entering and leaving the facility property as directed. Conducts regular and random patrols of the interior and perimeter of the facility and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions. Why St. Moritz?
